Servicing & MOT
What "MOT Test (Class 4)" actually means.
The MOT is a legal annual check that your car still meets minimum road-safety and environmental standards. We're a DVSA-approved Class 4 testing station — cars, small vans and dual-purpose vehicles up to 3,000 kg. Pricing is set per visit at sensible rates; if anything fails, we explain what and why, and quote you for the work — nothing happens without your OK.
What we cover
- 30+ point visual and mechanical inspection to DVSA standard
- Brake performance test on the rolling road
- Emissions test (petrol or diesel as appropriate)
- Lights, indicators, mirrors, wipers and washers
- Steering, suspension and seatbelts
- Tyres, wheels and bodywork
- Same-day pass certificate or itemised fail with a quote
When you might need it
- Your current MOT expires in the next month (you can test up to a month early without losing days)
- You're buying a used car and want an independent pre-purchase check
- A warning light or noise has appeared close to your MOT date
- You want to combine the MOT with a service in a single visit
Not sure if mot test (class 4) is what your car needs?
That's normal — most customers describe the symptom (a noise, a warning light, a feeling), and we diagnose the actual fault from there. Honest quote before any work begins.
