Servicing & MOT
What "Interim Service" actually means.
An interim service is the lighter touch — half the cost, half the time, but covering the items that genuinely wear: oil, filters, brakes, tyres and lights. We recommend it every six months or 6,000 miles for anyone covering serious mileage, taxi work, or running an older car that benefits from more frequent attention.
What we cover
- Engine oil and filter change to the maker's grade
- Brake, tyre and lighting inspection
- Fluid level top-ups (coolant, screenwash, power steering)
- Wiper blades and exterior lighting check
- Visual under-bonnet inspection for leaks or perished hoses
When you might need it
- High annual mileage — taxi, courier, sales rep
- Six months since your last full service
- Older car that benefits from more frequent oil changes
- You want to keep on top of small issues before they become big ones
Not sure if interim service is what your car needs?
That's normal — most customers describe the symptom (a noise, a warning light, a feeling), and we diagnose the actual fault from there. Honest quote before any work begins.
