Tuning
What "High-Lift Cams" actually means.
A high-lift cam is one of the most effective mechanical changes you can make to a naturally-aspirated engine — but the cam alone isn't a free upgrade. We advise on which profile suits the engine, the use case (road, fast road, track) and the rest of the build. Then we fit and time it properly so the gains are real.
What we cover
- Consultation on engine condition, mileage and intended use
- Cam profile selection appropriate to the build
- Supporting valve spring, retainer and lifter work as needed
- Cam installation and accurate timing
- ECU recalibration or carburettor jetting where required
- Rolling-road or road verification of the result
When you might need it
- Naturally-aspirated petrol engine you want to wake up
- Track car, fast-road build, or classic restoration with performance intent
- Cam wear discovered during an engine refresh
- You want a sharper top-end without forced induction
Not sure if high-lift cams is what your car needs?
That's normal — most customers describe the symptom (a noise, a warning light, a feeling), and we diagnose the actual fault from there. Honest quote before any work begins.
